Creating Websites, Creating Futures, that’s what we do! Through website design, YOU have the opportunity to submerge yourself in the business community. You’ll gain valuable business, professional, technical, and communication skills.

Best Point Team members typically do a little of everything when it comes to website design. Sometimes you’ll be doing research on a client’s business, or you may be in complete creative mode – choosing colors and creating a logo and then designing a layout for a web page. Technical stuff comes up too – you may have to write a little code to get a website to look or do just want you want. And then there’s the business aspect – maybe helping with social media, visiting with clients, or even looking at our financials to see how we’re doing. The best part is that you’re part of a team – so there’s someone there if you need help figuring something out. And of course we try to mix in some fun too!

Typically we work from our homes, and we meet as a team weekly – lately on Zoom. But we try to get together in person as a group too – it really helps feed our creative minds.

Sometimes you’ll be working alone – other times with the whole team – and still other times with just one or two other team members. It depends on just what you’re up to! We’re pretty flexible. Our Zoom channel gets used a lot when you just need a couple questions answered and you can reach out to someone to show you exactly what you’re looking for. And when we are in person – either as a whole team or in smaller groups – it seems we get a lot done too.

We try to be super flexible – we know students can be very busy! We have always said that family and school come before this job. What’s important is to communicate that.  So if you’re needing help in getting something done because you’ve got lots of homework this week, let us know! We are a team! That being said, we normally shoot for about 5 hours a week during the school year – more in the summer. Of course, some weeks that may not be possible (finals weeks!) – and we completely understand!

Yes! We love giving students a great experience while also giving them a chance to make a living (this was written by a former broke college student)!
