I have had the awesome opportunity to work with Karina. Her website was a unique one to design. She didn’t want the background to be a harsh white, so we decided to play with some blocks of fabric as backgrounds for the headers of each section.
One of my favorite features on this site is the slider at the top of the homepage that shows all of the different brands of blinds and shades that Karina can work with. This slider is elegant and adds a fun pop of movement when you first open the website.
The gallery that we made of all of the pictures from Karina’s previous work was challenging. We had to separate each of the pictures according to their category. This was broken down into soft treatments, blinds/shades, paintings, and cabinetry. It was fun to fiddle with the layout of the pictures and get them all into the right spot.
Overall, working with Karina was a great experience. She was open to new ideas and loved the different design aspects that we used.
