Because of the COVID-19 pandemic that halted many people’s lives, Paige wasn’t able to have her end-of-the-year dance recital. Performing for audiences and watching their smiles is her favorite part about the art. Luckily she got the opportunity to get that one last show in, or two I should say. Paige and some of her competition team at WPDC entertained the residents at the Hillside Villa Nursing Home and St. Joseph’s Retirement Home in West Point. Even though the audience couldn’t be directly in front of her, she still loved bringing joy to the residents through glass windows. The smiles and almost-tears showed how much they all appreciated the company and talent of the team. As an added bonus, Paige was also able to perform in front of her grandparents who are residents at the retirement home. Despite the few grass stains and cement scrapes, the experience was TOTALLY worth it, and much joy was shared!
