This past weekend, I got to celebrate something that I’ve been looking forward to since 6th grade. Graduation! I was honored to speak as the salutatorian of my class. Despite being so nervous that you could visibly see me shaking, the speech went smooth. I even got a couple of laughs!  All of the work I had put in the week before to get my party and speech ready paid off. It was a day filled with fun, family, and friends.

It seems like just yesterday that I was starting my freshman year. I know that everyone says it, but time really does fly! Now that I am coming to the end of high school, it also means that I am almost done here at Best Point. This experience has been an amazing ride. I’ve acquired so many skills that I would have never gotten had I not been working here. I’ve met some amazing people, built up my communication skills, and realized my love for design.

Now, I know that it seems as though this blog post is a sad goodbye. It’s not! It’s a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has been a part of my journey in life and at Best Point. I am starting a new chapter this fall at UNK, and I am thrilled to put all of the knowledge I’ve gained over the past 18 years to use! I’ll be sure to check in during the summers and keep everyone updated on what’s going on in my life. Maybe I’ll even start a reality show about it… “Keeping Up With the Best Pointers.” Thank you again to everyone that has been a part of my path in life!
