I can’t believe that I actually graduated from high school. Time really does fly by in a blink of an eye. Senior year went by so fast. I’m so excited to start my college career, but I will definitely miss all of my friends and teachers at GACC. GACC isn’t just another school, it is a family that always has your back. No matter what you’re going through, you always know you have someone to go to for guidance. That is what I will probably miss the most from GACC, the new family it brought me. I will also miss being a part of the dance team. Dance has been a part of my whole life, and it’s finally time to let it go. Dance allowed me to make so many new friends, and it taught me how to have confidence, and to not be afraid to perform in public. I am very thankful my parents sent me to such a great school, where I learned how to be a mature-young adult. Although I will miss GACC with my whole heart, I am very excited to start my new future.

Next fall I will be pursuing a degree of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. My ultimate goal is to start my own Interior Design Business back here in West Point. I really debated on majoring in Interior Design rather than Business Administration, but I feel like having an eye for design comes naturally and that it can’t be taught. The most famous Interior Designers didn’t go to college for Interior Design. For example, Joanna Gaines majored in Communications while attending Baylor University. Now, she’s world famous with her TV show and business. I dream to raise my future family on a farm, in a house that I designed.
